One Africa online a digital skills initiative in collaboration with Google are hosting training at the Diepsloot Youth Centre, on the 30th of November 2016 from 10 am to 1pm. The directions are: Main Road, Diepsloot, Ext 13 ,Gauteng.
The training material is provided by Google to ensure a robust a robust curriculum that provides introductory digital sessions for those new to the web about the benefits of using the internet, and those savvy, specific skills around digital marketing.
The course content includes:
- Introduction to digital skills
- Building your online presence
- Introduction to search engine marketing
- Introduction to mobile
- Showcasing digital skills opportunities
the attendees will receive a digital certificate of attendance. I wish that in the near future we will see such initiatives, especially in areas where these skills would do a lot to uplift the community.
